How do you fall out of love with your best friend?

I can't cut off contact because she is my best friend, and regardless of any romantic ties we are still super close as friends.





We've kissed many a time, but she also kisses/sleeps with lots of guys and I'm finding it difficult to deal with. She clearly does not feel the same way about me and I need to find a way to get over her other than cutting off contact with her. Any suggestions?How do you fall out of love with your best friend?

First off, stop all of the physical intimacy you have going on with her, it doesn't help you emotionally.


If you value her as a friend and don't want to lose her, just focus on her bad qualities and you might see yourself liking her that way less. It helped me to get over my ex when I told myself ';He's a borderline alcoholic with a gambling addiction, why do you want that?';


It might not be the best for your relationship, but it helps to not feel so hopelessly in love.
ya im in that same position except im a guy thats in love with my guy bestfriend so far i found that that its really hard to deal with him and his girlfriend, i get crazy jelous and he knows it so it sucks even more... i talk to him less now though. i know its not good for the friendship but it takes my mind off him. im workin on tryin to show him that i care about him.
one of my friends is in the same situation you are. Its kinda hard to say but the best thing to do is find someone to keep you busy find a guy or girl whichever u feel more comfortable with and be your bf/gf cause then if you fall in love with someone else your gonna knock your crush out
