I have known a male friend of mine for two years, which may not seem like a very long time to fall in love with someone, but I do things together with him almost every week and talk to him nearly every day and I just feel calm and secure when I see him. I dated him for about two weeks before he broke up with me saying he had commitment issues and I later realized it was because he felt he didn't deserve me, and I was devastated, but stayed really close with him. Now I go out with another good friend but I don't really feel anything special with him, not like I did with my other male friend. I still want to go out with the first boy mentioned, the one I don't go out with, but he goes out with his ex again (much to my agitation) and I don't want to break my current boyfriend's heart, because he's a very emotional guy (and also dramatic). I know I love the first boy very much, because I still fantasize about dating him, but I don't know what to do in my current position. Any help here? How do you cope with loving your best friend?
I KNOW EXACTLY HOW YOU FEEL.. BUT HONESTLY WHY SHOULD YOU DEPRIVE YOURSELF OF HAPPINESS ,, IF YOU FEEL THAT WAY ABOUT HIM,, THEN BE HONEST AND TELL HIM,, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT COULD HAPPEN,,,,, YOU DESERVE THE BEST LOVE THERE IS TO HAVE... ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS BE STRONG AND BE HONEST..... IT WILL WORK OUT IN THE ENDHow do you cope with loving your best friend?
Tell him how you feel and if he feels the same way about you he will break up with his girlfriend and date you. It's hard to be best friends with a boy when he is dating someone else.
