Has anyone else ever fallen in love with their best friend?

I've been friends with Adam for 5 years now, he's almost 20 now and leaving for college. I'm 19 and still living in the same old town we grew up in. Our families are close and growing up our aunt tried to get us to date, but that was 4 years ago and we were younger then, now i'm old enough to understand how much my feelings have evolved and we've been talking and hanging out lately. I suppose my question is has anyone ever fallen in love with their best guy or girl friend and if so how did it turn out? did it work because of the history you had together or did it ruin your friendship forever?Has anyone else ever fallen in love with their best friend?
Yepperz. We dated for a little while.. but then we both realized that we were just ment to be friends because everything we did was like.. just a normal hangout when we were friends. It didnt ruin our friendship.. we are still the best of friends.. (with a cousin that dosnt want us being friends).. but yeah. You never know, though. Life is full of suprises of diffferent kinds for different people. It was telling me that there was someone else.. and hey, you never know.. it could be telling you that its ment to be. Follow your heart. Hes a good friend, start getting into different kinds of conversations and see where it leads you. :)Has anyone else ever fallen in love with their best friend?
yes, i have. it was kinda weird cause i knew she kinda liked me too. the only problem was, she never wanted to hang out. she brought her boyfriend to a party i threw at my house and we flirted a little bit. but, four weeks ago, i had to move literally an ocean away from her and all my friends. it's been tough, but it's not killing me or anything now. i say you should tell him how you feel before he goes away for college because you might regret it later.
