Is it wise to fall in love with your best friend?

I'm in love with my best friend, he's funny he's open minded, he helps me through the tough times. The problem is I'm moving out of the country before winter time (i'm moving to italy florence) and i want to tell him before i leave cause i know i'll regret it later if i don't. So you think it's worth the try and if so how should i tell him? thank youIs it wise to fall in love with your best friend?
First of all you have to tell him before you leave for Italy. Write every thing, all your feelings in a wish card and give him. Also ask him to read it same time in front of you and let you know his comments!

I reckon falling for someone you know really well is absolutely the best way to go... You already know everything you like and dislike about 'em; you have a good clue what their true nature is; and the chances are very high that they feel the same about you... There really ain't any such thing as a platonic friendship.

Normally it isn't wise to do so. But, when the likeness is from both sides or quite so , it's better get it clarified. Tell him how you feel about him . You have nothing to lose except that there is a fear of the unknown. That's always there . He may or may ot think the way you are thinking. Remain prepared for this.

you should tell him, but let him know you don't expect anything of that sort to really happen because you don't want either of you to get hurt when you move. even if you do say this, it will make your relationship stronger and more intimate without all the expectations, so it's not as damaging.
