How to stop loving your Best Friend?

I've fallen in love with my best friend. I know he doesn't love me, but we have kissed a couple of times. The problem is that I don't want to see him anymore, because I feel so guilty inside (he has a girlfriend -I barely know her- ...and likes other girls, which are also my friends). The issue is that even though I try so hard not to hang out with him, so I can fall out of love, I still have to see him in all my classes and every morning because we have to take a 30 min. ride. ....I don't know what to do, sometimes I think he uses me, but he really is a nice guy and I could trust him with my life. Does anyone have any ideas? ..sometimes I wish he could miss me, the way I miss him when I'm not around him...even though when I'm with him I feel sad. Have you ever felt like that? Mary Ann, first make sure what you really feel for this guy, because you are contradicting yourself. One moment you say sometimes you think he only uses you (not a good sign) Then next moment you say you could trust him with your life.


If you think you really love and trust him and there's a possibility that he might come to love you too, then at least give it a try. Otherwise, you have to decide for yourself if you could continue to be best friends only or if it will be best to discontinue your friendship completely. Good luck
